The administrator for CheLabWiki (Wikiadmin, a.k.a. jmh) is J. M. Haile, who is publisher, editor, writer, designer, and composer-in-residence at Macatea Productions. In addition, he servers as a freelance science editor for ScienceDocs and SciTechEdit International.
He has twenty-four years of university teaching experience in thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, numerical methods, technical communications. He has held visiting research positions at the U. S. Military Academy (West Point, NY), University of Guelph (Ontario), Chalk River National Labs (Ontario), Cornell University, Ruhr University (Bochum, Germany), and Colorado School of Mines.
He is the former North American editor of the international journal Molecular Simulation, published by Gordon and Breach, London, and is the author of Molecular Dynamics Simulation (Wiley), Lectures in Thermodynamics (Macatea), Technical Style (Macatea), Analysis of Data (Macatea), and The Way of the Teacher (Macatea). With J. P. O'Connell, he is coauthor of Thermodynamics: Fundamentals for Applications (Cambridge University Press).
- He is a recipient of a Presidential Young Investigator Award from the National Science Foundation (1984) and the Corcoran Award (1998) from the Chemical Engineering Division of the American Society for Engineering Education.
- He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Florida.
